Description

Shopping bag is part of collection designed by Aki Choklat. It is made of seamless 100 % wool felt. Wool felt is ideal material for bags. It keeps its contents in a soft hug thus preventing dents and scratches. Wool is water and dirt repellent by nature: it self-cleanses. Felt is breathable on and keeps looking stylish for a long time. Strong straps are made of vegetable tanned leather, which creates beautiful patina over time. Shopping bag is a simple bag, it has a post and slot leather strap closure.

Footwear and bags in the Aki Choklat for Lahtiset -collection have combined traditional “finnishness” with modern design and new products. Enviromental aspects have been thoughtfully considered. Eco friendly vegetable-tanned leather, rubber and wool, with minimal material waste and light packaging make the collection a good choice for sustainable development. All materials are sourced locally, if possible.

Care: if the bag is wet after use, dry in a lukewarm place. Surface can be brushed, usually wool is self-cleaning so most stains come off after a while. This is caused by wool fibres swelling unevenly in the changes of moisture in the surrounding atmosphere. Any longer storage should take place in the dark, sunlight causes materials to fade and become brittle. Please note that there is no permanent moth protection on the product when storing.
