Crafted from a single seamless piece of dense wool felt, these modern felt shoes combine clean Scandinavian design with the timeless practicality Lahtiset is known for. Designed for both indoor wear and light outdoor use, the shoes are finished with a carefully stitched-on box sole. This durable sole protects the felt from dirt, moisture and wet snow, extending the shoe’s lifespan while keeping your feet warm and dry. Lightweight yet supportive, the box sole gives the shoe its distinctive shape and makes walking effortless.
Each pair is handcrafted in Finland using traditional felting methods and pure wool — a renewable, naturally insulating material that feels pleasant in every season. Whether at home, at the cabin or out on a quick errand, these felt shoes offer reliable comfort with a modern look.

To be used as: dry weather shoes fitted for hot and cold, but they don’t mind little rain
Materials: 100 % wool felt and rubber sole. Felt is produced at our factory in Jämsä. Rubber sole is produced in Portugal. Insole is made in Finland from PET (mainly recycled bottles) and polyamide.
Care: after use dry in a lukewarm place. Surface can be brushed, usually wool is self-cleaning so most stains come off after a while. This is caused by wool fibres swelling unevenly in the changes of moisture in the surrounding atmosphere. Any longer storage should take place in the dark, sunlight causes materials to fade and become brittle.
