Ankle boots designed by Aki Choklat and handmade in Finland. The rubber sole provides excellent traction and insulation for winter conditions. The fit of these ankle boots is slightly narrower than our classic felt boots.
The sole of the grey ankle boots is changing from brown to black. Some pairs still have brown soles, others come with a black sole.
The felt is crafted with two different densities – thicker around the foot for warmth and structure, and lighter on the shaft for flexibility. This allows the shaft to be folded and perforated, giving the boots their distinctive look. The result is a pair of warm, comfortable and stylish winter boots.

Use: Designed as outdoor footwear for cold, dry weather. Best suited for icy or snowy conditions.
Materials: 100 % wool felt and rubber sole. The felt is produced at our factory in Jämsä, Finland, starting from our own wool blend. The rubber soles are made in Portugal. The insole, produced in Finland, combines recycled PET bottles and polyamide for comfort and sustainability.
Care: After use, let the boots dry in a warm, well-ventilated place. The surface can be brushed clean; wool is naturally self-cleaning and most stains disappear over time as the fibres react to changes in humidity. For longer storage, keep the boots in a dark place – sunlight may fade or weaken the material. The product is not permanently moth-proofed, so store accordingly. To maintain the shape, fill the shafts with crumpled newspaper – the ink scent also acts as a natural moth repellent.
